Rev. Marc Reid is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and has served in pastoral ministry since 1997. In addition to a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) in Ministry Studies from McMaster Divinity College, he holds a Bachelor of Religious Studies (BRS) from Canadian Nazarene College, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Toronto.
Marc believes in the transformational potential of preaching in the context of the corporate worship gathering. In worship we enter God’s narrative of restoration, redemption and hope. To enter in is to invite change, to confront the status quo, to experience both conviction of sin and absolution of guilt, to grapple with paradox and mystery, to engage the Word of God in a divine-human preaching moment, and to hopefully arrive at a place of faith in which we somehow “grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ“ that we “may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Eph. 3:18-19 NIV).
